Our largest fundraiser of the year! Each year, PV PTA asks students & parents to participate in the auction by contributing to classroom "themed" baskets to be auctioned off. The silent auction will be held in the Pleasant Valley large gym during the PTA Spring Carnival.

At Pleasant Valley we love our STAFF!! As a PTA we want to make sure that our staff and teachers know how much they are appreciated. Each year we have Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week.

PTA hopes to encourage our students to give back to the community that surround them. Every year, students gather as many food items as possible to fill the school bus parked in front of the flagpole for the week. The items donated will benefit SHARE which serves the Hungry and Homeless locally.

Pleasant Valley holds a book fair each fall and spring to help earn Scholastic Dollars for the school libraries. This allows the library staff to purchase items for their department.

The Holiday Gift Shoppe runs for a few weeks near the end of the year, just before winter break. This is a place where students can shop for gifts for their families. Prices range from $0.50 - $10 for a variety of items. Students receive a bag to wrap their gifts.

Students receive Dr. Seuss reading tracker slips every other month. They can fill these slips in and return them to the school. Every student who returns their slip is eligible to choose a prize from the Dr. Seuss Shop!

Students get to choose a book to take home in honor of their birthday. Birthday book club typically takes place once a month for those students whose birthday falls within that month.
