Battle Ground School District and the Battle Ground Education Association are still attempting to reach an agreement regarding certificated instructional staff salaries. Both parties have agreed to mediated bargaining, and will be meeting tonight, August 28th. The outcome of that meeting will impact the start of the school year. If an agreement is not reached school will be postponed. However school sports will continue as scheduled, and lunch will be served at Maple Grove School from 11am to 12:30pm, as a continuation of the summer meal program. School offices will also remain open through the end of the week.
